About Amelia

Hi! I'm a piano teacher and composer with 20+ years of playing experience and 3 years of full-time teaching. I've taught over 30 students, with experience in coaching students for the Certificate of Merit exams. I specialize in making music theory approachable and tailor lessons to each student's learning style. I have experience working with students who are neurodiverse, visually impaired, or have ADHD. My approach is warm, patient, and focused on building confidence and independence through music. I like tutoring because I love helping kids build confidence and independence! I'm looking for a job that can allow me to help your child improve in their music theory, any piano practice habits, or prepare for any upcoming examinations for piano! I started tutoring in 2017. I was an au pair and tutored 2 girls where I helped them improve their piano practice skills. In my spare time, I like to compose music, do photography, and travel internationally!
