About Amelia

I'd describe my personality as fun, imaginative, and caring I like working with kids because they inspire me everyday with their resilience and endless creativity. I'm looking for a job that allows me to have flexibility with school while getting to pour into the next generation and have fun while working. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I would help volunteer at Sunday school. Since then I have also started babysitting. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, bake, read and watch shows. One thing you should know about me is I love letting the kids use their imagination and creativity to choose how we play. I also encourage playing outside when the weather is nice. My skills include patience and taking every opportunity to ensure the child is learning and that I'm not just doing everything myself. I also will be an authority figure and make sure the child knows I am in charge while still maintaining a fun relationship with them.
