About Amelia

Hi! I'm a UF Biology graduate and experienced Microbiology Lab TA. I love helping middle and high school students build confidence in science. I focus on making concepts clear, while also supporting study strategies, exam prep, and homework. I'm also a native Spanish speaker (scored a 5 on the AP exam) and can help with grammar, writing, conversation, and classwork. In addition, I have a strong ballet background (trained from ages 6-15, including at a ballet academy). I enjoy teaching kids who want to explore dance for fun, but can also adapt for more technique-focused lessons. Parents find me patient, creative, and flexible. I adjust to each student's learning style and age to keep them engaged-whether that means creating practice materials, guiding homework, or just being a supportive presence.
