About Amelia

I have experience with elder care from my time at Innisfree Village where I worked for 1 year and 8 months, and where I held a live-in caretaker position. Here I provided support for daily personal care, medication administration, and worked to foster a warm and creative environment for residents. I performed dementia care, catheter maintenance, and seizure monitoring and response. I am well versed in mood and behavioral instability, and have extensive experience in working with adults with both physical and intellectual disabilities. I also have experience facilitating activities such as adapted farming, vegetable and herb gardening, tea making, and weaving for adults with higher support needs.
