About Ameerah

The chance to positively influence a child's life drew me to childcare. I have been a tutor for over five years, taught an after school cooking class with a class size of over 15 students with iCook After-School, and recently graduated with a Behavioral Science degree from the University of Maryland. I took Early Childhood Education coursework, that has equipped me with the skills to support your child's growth. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I truly enjoy working with children. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and will always communicate with you using your preferred method. I can help with cooking, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I speak both Arabic and English and have studied ASL for a year! I believe in creating a fun and nurturing environment, and I look forward to hearing from you!
