Hello, I'm Ambrosia (call me Amber)! I am a young, vibrant, and fully vaccinated nanny from Baltimore, MD. I'm currently seeking babysitting opportunities. I've nannied for several families with babies at a young age and I was able to see them develop into a toddler and learn and grow. I am a firm user of baby sign language. Amber has has been such a wonderful nanny to our baby for about a year now. She started when our daughter was 6 months old, and is the absolute best! She has helped with nap transitions, taught my daughter sign language, worked on speech development, spent time with her both indoors and outdoors, and so much more. She is patient, nurturing, reliable, and trustworthy. As excited as we are for our daughter to start daycare, we are so sad about having to say goodbye. Ambrosia does an outstanding job in interaction with both parent and child. She is intuitive and willing to adjust to changes in child emotional, behavioral or social temperament which can occur at any moment. Her calm and patient demeanor aids in transitional moments in having a successful positive environment both for child and parent.

So where do I start off with Amber well she is a very dependable person always punctual. She is also very caring and attentive to the children and families that she nannies for. Super hard worker willing to always go the extra mile to make sure the families are up to date on how the kids days have been going even down to the smallest detail. I believe Amber is such a great person and she gives her last bit of energy to meet the needs of her job to see that everything has gone smooch. She is clearly a super mom at heart and the best candidate for every future family she works for.

I am so glad I found Amber on Care.com. She is flexible, punctual, and quick to respond when I contact her. Amber plays games, puzzles, trains, and colors the whole time. I know my son is taken well care of while she is in my home.                                                                                                                                                 

She is confident and is great at engaging children. From sports to playing inside, the kids had a great time. She's reliable and a great communicator. 

Ambrosia is an outstanding nanny.   Ambrosia began caring for our daughter when she was four weeks old.  Ambrosia is gentle, structured, supremely reliable, creative, and communicates well.  Ambrosia's empathetic nature allowed her to develop a keen sense of our child's needs and personality.  She listens first and responds in a way that has furthered our child's development.  Ambrosia offers a structured environment that has helped our daughter to develop routines and feel safe and secure.  Ambrosia incorporates music into all she does.  She has taken additional training to learn more about early childhood development.  Ambrosia is more than reliable and arrives on time for work each day. She has kept detailed records of our daughter's activities and sends photos and captions of our daughter in action.  Thanks in great part to Ambrosia, our daughter signs, socializes well, sleeps well, and has timely met all of her developmental milestones.  Ambrosia is a rare jewel of a find.

I only interviewed Amber but she was very responsive via phone and email and seemed to have a ton of experience.  She was available at the time we scheduled and provided references quickly.  

She did not actually babysit our child. This review is solely based on her interview.  We ended up going a different direction but I would consider her to take care of my child should our current situation change.

She is a great person with a great personality. She is very patient and caring person. Excellent with kids because she has me with my son from time to time. She is just an all around amazing person. Amber and I met through my husband in 2012 before he passed away and we have been very close ever since she is a great friend and aunt to my son.
