About Amber
Experience: 10 yrs
I have been a child care provider since 2006 but also been around children since age 12. I worked with ZECDE for about a year or so as a child care provider starting way back in 2006. I do have an AA in Early Multicultural Education as well as courses for nursing which I plan to pursue sometime in the near future. I love being around children. I prefer working with infants and toddlers, yet have no problem working with pre-teens as well. I have also done various volunteer hours as a basketball coach under the Zuni Youth Enrichment Program with ages 6-8-year-olds. Lastly, I did about 90 hours of volunteer work with the Zuni Head Start as well as at elementary school. I am not CPR certified but I have taken numerous CPR classes in the past. If needed I will be willing to get recertified. My previous job was with a wonderful family of 4 from Gallup whom I had the privilege of caring for from January 2020- February 2023.

Amber was our full-time childcare provider for three years, when our two children were between 3mo and 3 years old. She is responsible, kind and great with children. When they were little she played and read with them, and as our daughter got older, she did art and crafts with her. Taking care of them came naturally to her, as she is a mom herself. Amber really became a part of our family during the time she worked for us.
