I have my B. S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology. I have experience in the following: ABA, RTI, NET, Floortime Experience, as well as 4 semesters of ASL Skills. I am enrolled in my ABA masters program at ASU. I have been a One-to-One Skills Trainer for Special Needs Children, ABA Therapist in a Center, Speech Therapist for school-age children and teens in schools, as well as home-based and clinical therapy. I have experience with the admin side as well: writing IEPs, METs, as well as leading the meetings. I'm passionate about what I do because I had an SLP when I was younger and I understand what is like being the patient and being embarrassed about my speech errors, and learning to overcome my difficulties. I enjoy giving all children the ability to feel confident in themselves, a voice to be heard, knowing they can make a difference, and that they can be great communicators and find their special talent to shine. I enjoy being able to teach children to overcome their difficulties so they can be confident and seize the world with their smarts and talents. I love being able to teach children academic concepts as well, it is incredible when they get it, and seeing the difference! I have also done surf and aquatic therapy for special needs children, with some experience in music therapy. I love being able to help children learn and grow and revealing each child's strengths that she/he may not have known!
