About Amber

My name is Amber, and I've had a lifelong passion for animals. I grew up on a farm surrounded by horses, donkeys, mules, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats, which gave me a deep appreciation for caring for animals from an early age. As a teenager I worked at a stable where I was responsible for the care of 50+ horses at a time. I later worked in law enforcement as a K9 handler, where I had the opportunity to work with multiple dogs throughout my career. I spent countless hours training, including traveling out of state for advanced K9 programs, which gave me extensive experience in handling, training, and understanding canine behavior. Today, I continue that passion by raising and breeding Basset Hounds. I've been breeding, raising, and placing puppies in loving homes for the past two years. My three hounds--Winifred, Wallace, and Wilma Jean--are a big part of my life and the foundation of my program.
