I work great with kids, and bond really quick. I have two years experience working with children who have autism or are otherwise on the spectrum, plus knowledge of what it's like to care for children with special needs. I was the primary caregiver for an 8-year-old girl with special needs for over a year. I helped her with clothing changes, if she had accidents I helped clean her, we did homework together, reading, & best of all, blow bubbles of course. I helped with basic household tasks such as cleaning the counters & doing the dishes. I currently drive a 7-year-old boy to school a few days a week, making sure he gets to school safely, and sometimes I watch him for a few hours afterschool until his mom gets home from work. I work with three other older children on the spectrum who are 13, 16, and 21 respectively. I have babysat while I was in high school, I am CPR, AED, & BLS certified for children and adults.
