Meet Amber

I've cared for my amazing rescue chihuahua/terrier, Mac, for 9 years, so I understand the trauma some animals sadly have gone through. I love watching over other people's cute animals in my free time. I've pet-sat two shih tzus named Bailey and Ginger, a golden doodle named Scooter, a lab puppy named Milo and some funny cats in the past. I used to own 20+ parakeets--Blue and Pikachu could not stop breeding. I also owned a cockatiel parrot named Spazz and three guinea pigs, named Cheetos, Cutie and Pa Tootie. Whether you need overnight care or someone to walk/run your pet, I'm your woman! I'm also a major environmental advocate, trying to reduce my friends', family's and my waste to save the sea turtles and other wild creatures. I'm obsessed with animals and would be honored to care for yours.

I was in a pinch and I'd never used before. I had to leave for my out of town vacation the same day that I interviewed Amber so it was a little bit of 'well if she doesn't work out I'm a little screwed' lol!! I was so relieved when Amber showed up promptly at o-dark-thirty to meet my cat and show her the place and show her where everything was. We agreed on a 'no news is good news' thing so I didn't need her to check in with me about Monkey unless it was an emergency. When I came home a week later Monkey was fine, looked well cared for, there wasn't a mess anywhere, his litter looked like it had been cleaned and even changed. Amber was great! dependable, prompt and I have no doubt that if I had asked her to do some light cleaning or to give me daily updates and check ins she would.
