About Amber

My experience caring for seniors began while working at a day program for adults with special needs. Many of the older adults I supported lived active, fulfilling lives. Some enjoyed expressing their creativity through art projects and baking classes, while others worked part-time jobs and found joy in socializing with their peers. This role taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and attentive care. I became skilled at thinking quickly when challenges arose while always remaining mindful of each person's unique needs, abilities, and preferences. Above all, I believe in treating every individual with kindness, dignity, and respect. One of the most rewarding parts of my work was watching the people I supported grow in confidence as they developed new skills and became more independent. I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where seniors feel valued, supported, and empowered to enjoy each day.
