About Amber

The opportunity to foster a child's growth and development is something I truly cherish. My passion stems from over 20 years of experience, including my work as a clinical social worker and licensed play therapist at Children's Mercy, and previously as an elementary school counselor. I am also a mom of five and grandma to three! I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time, ages 0-11. I enjoy board games, puzzles, arts and crafts, and educational games. I always follow parents' preferred communication methods and am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I have a graduate degree and am CPR and First Aid trained. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to bring some fun and joy to your child's day, while also helping you out!
