About Amber

Hello! a small home childcare program focused on giving young children a place to learn, explore, create, and build confidence through everyday experiences. I have 6 years of experience working with children, including 5 years as a lead toddler teacher and 2 years providing childcare from home. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I've also had the opportunity to visit Reggio Emilia, Italy, which inspired the way I think about early childhood learning. Our days include open-ended art, nature exploration, music and movement, sensory experiences, stories, outdoor play, and hands-on invitations that encourage children to follow their curiosity and discover things for themselves. At Future Roots, I want children to have the freedom to explore at their own pace while building the early skills, confidence, and curiosity that become part of their foundation for the future.
