About Amber

I've been working as a cook at a small memory care home for the last 3 years following 15 residents dietary restrictions, for the 7 year prior I was a stay at home mom with my babies, and previously I did caregiving with elderly. I'm currently a direct support person for individuals with disabilities. I have a deep passion for helping others. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and have my caregiver certification. Losing my grandma to dementia back when I was in my early 20s gave me a special passion to help those with memory issues. I have three children of my own, ages 12, 10, and 5. I have a lot of experience caring for pets of a wide variety types, including reptiles so I'm very comfortable with all pets. In my spare time, I like to go camping with my kids, we visit different zoos often, if I'm not going on some adventures with my kiddos then I like I just relax at home cleaning and watching tv.
