Amber has been with our family since the fall of 2015. She's primarily helped us out with the after school care of our twin girls, now 8, shuttling them to various activities and helping them with their homework. She's also helped us out on occasion with evening babysitting. Amber is, in a word, phenomenal. We've had numerous babysitters both here in Houston and in New York City, and Amber is one of the best, if not the best we've ever had. She's extremely organized (e.g., she maintains a shared Excel spreadsheet of the girls' schedule and her hours), very reliable, displays outstanding maturity and judgment, and is proactive in her care of the girls (coming up with ways to keep them entertained or their energies directed). She also possesses endless patience, as evidenced by the fact that she is able to handle two highly energetic and challenging children, and her assistance with homework has proven invaluable. We really can't say enough positive things about Amber!
