About Amber

Hi! I'm Amber. I have a professional background in operations, communications, and nonprofit work, but childcare is something I've always found myself coming back to because it genuinely makes me happy. I love being part of a child's day in a way that feels calm, supportive, and safe. I have over 15 years of childcare experience, starting with babysitting in high school. My best friend had her first baby when we were young and now at 35 she has five children ranging from 18 years old to a few months old. I've helped care for all of her girls over the years, and I've also worked as a private nanny for two families. I'm patient, reliable, and nurturing, and I enjoy creating structure through routines, play, reading, outdoor time, and simple nature-based activities. I love animals and I have two dogs of my own, m. I'm also plant-based and enjoy healthy, mindful living. My partner is a Suffolk county police officer and we are very community oriented.
