About Amber

I have been around kids all my life. I have a younger brother and sister that I helped out with growing up. My mother ran a daycare when I was young. I did quite a bit of babysitting for family and friends while growing up. When I got out of high school, I went to school for nursing for a while but decided it wasn't for me. I then worked two years at Apple Tree Children's Center as a "floater" for a year and then as a teacher in the newborn room for a year. I then left to become a nanny for a wonderful family with three children aged 1, 5, and 6 when I first started. I worked for them for two and a half years. I now work for an insurance company. I'm planning on opening an in home daycare in the next few years, and I would like to get back into babysitting in the meantime.
