After H. S. I went to Vici Aveda for cosmetology. Weeks after starting. I found out I was pregnant with my first child. Fast forward 9 months ... my son arrived, I had learned that he needed to be rushed to children's for open heart surgery. Two open heart surgeries later with a forever pacemaker . Fast forward 3 years later that my son would be diagnosed with Autism. Residing at Children's for months, seeing and meeting all these precious STRONG babies , then onto meeting kids in my sons class with other disabilities... has really made me look at the world in such a different way and just admire how beautiful it is So with compassion, empathy , sympathy, and so much care to offer, I decided to change my career path and get my C. N. A. in 2011. I have loved it since . I've worked with all different kinds of patients for years.
