About Amber

Hi there, my name is Amber. I have ~ 10 years of childcare experience. Along with being an attentive & patient caregiver, I am up for a variety of household tasks, especially during downtime throughout the day. I value professionalism & good communication & aim to make transitions as seamless as possible when starting a new role. Most recently, I worked full time with a family in Upstate NY. I cared for their newborn & shared some of the sweetest moments with the family. Prior to this, I was lucky to spend four years with a family just outside of Ithaca NY. Initially, I was the nanny to 1, but after approximately 1 year, came the 2nd. I loved being involved in their care. I truly felt part of the family. I have also been employed as a substitute teacher at Montessori School in Ithaca NY, where I was introduced to different principles of childhood development and the importance of self-directed activity and exploration.
