I like working with kids because their excitement and curiosity are balm for the soul. It is pure joy to watch a child learn or discover something new. I'm looking for a job that allows me to earn extra income to add to my kids' college savings fund. As-needed care or a recurring schedule are both fine. I started working with kids when I had my first baby 16 years ago and then as a high school teacher 5 years ago (and still going strong). In my spare time, I like to read, dance, sew, walk in new neighborhoods and tend to my sourdough starter. One thing you should know about me is I am happy to truly listen to what your child needs and to help with emotional regulation or executive functioning strategies to make sure your kiddos get the best care.
