About Amber

Making a difference in the lives of adults and seniors is my passion. For three years, I was a dedicated caregiver, supporting independence and well-being. My care began when I became my grandmother's full time live-in care provider. She struggled with many health challenges including diabetes, cognition difficulty, and was non-ambulatory. My responsibilities were great, my reward much greater. Compassionate, friendly, and detail-oriented, I have experience adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I understand the importance of knowing someone's preferences and history. I provide a wide range of care tasks and communicate with families through verbal updates and regular calls, always following their preferred method. I have some college education and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. Helping your loved ones live comfortably and safely would be my privilege.
