Amber was a great fit for our little family. I was a first time mom when Amber came to work for us. Not to mention, I was a first time mom of identical twin boys that were born 14 weeks early and spent just under three months in the NICU. They came home in April of 2021 and Amber began working for us to care for the boys while I worked in June of 2021. Amber was always punctual and if she ever ran into issues getting to the house on time, she let me know as soon as she could and was never unreasonably late. Being a part-time nanny for our boys was no easy task, but I could tell she loved every bit of it and helped in more ways than what I expected of her. She would do our laundry, clean our kitchen if it was messy, help get formula set up for mixing once she had left so that we could quickly get it done, and most importantly, worked with the boys on their development. Her work with them was extremely important to us since they were developmentally delayed from their early arrival!

We attempted to hire Amber on 5 separate occasions. Twice she canceled the day of and twice she requested to arrive an hour later due to needing to walk her dog and a fitness class she wanted to attend. The first time she canceled less than 2 hours prior to her arrival saying her car was in the shop and wouldn't be done in time. There was no offer of a  ride or any other solution to fulfill her responsibility that day. The last time she canceled, it was minutes before she was supposed to arrive and she said her sister was in a 'minor' car accident (her words, not mine) and needed to go to her.  I don't mean to be insensitive but it was the 3rd incident in a very short time frame. Lastly, she wasn't good at caring for more than one kid at a time. I have 2 boys, 5 and 3. My youngest followed me around all day and Amber made no attempt to engage him or include him in what she and my older son were doing. He tripped down a couple stairs and she didn't even bother to get up out of her chair

Amber is a rare gem. Patient, loving, super energized and bubbly, well educated, and the kind of individual you pray for to care for your little ones. She listens and honors your requests when it comes to "your specific household rules and your requests for your children".  I'm somewhat of a OCD mom and not once was I ever concerned when Amber was present in our home. She's highly educated in studies related to children and it shows in her interaction with them. I honestly can't think of one negative thing to say about Amber. 
She was with us for almost a year and we would have never let her go, except she crossed state lines to resume life back home, so if you are lucky enough to welcome her in your family, please treat her kindly. 
And we are still searching for our Amber replacement..

Amber is just wonderful.   She watched our 1 and 3 year old while we were traveling to Denver for 2 nights.   She has such a warm presence and did great with our 2 kids.  Managing to put them both to bed which at their age is not easy, and went the extra mile by sleeping with our younger one to make him comfortable.  She even brought some extra toys the 2nd night and my children were very happy to see her.   I couldn't recommend her enough.

Amber is incredible! She is very sweet with our 3yo and 18mo. She is also very patient as our 18mo is struggling to get walking. It can be nerve racking leaving your little ones with a sitter, but we can completely relax with ease that our kids are in good hands with Amber! We highly recommend Amber and can't wait for her to watch our boys again!

She's well versed in childhood development and is a real professional.  Her past experience in childhood speech was extremely helpful with our kids.  She always takes her responsibilities very seriously and cares for our girls deeply.  Plus she's great with twins!

We are spending a lot of time down in OBX and needed help with our 6 month old baby girl since we work during the day. Amber was extremely responsive, reliable , and so warm and loving with the little one. She took great care to learn about her routine and likes and dislikes. She played with her, sang to her, and took her for long walks outside. We quickly developed a lot of trust in her! We will absolutely be calling her every time we are in OBX and could not recommend her strongly enough!

Amber is a great: flexible, kind, and reliable.  She was able to help our family of 2 young ones (7,9 years old) and our friends' kids (3,6,8 years old) while we were visiting the outer banks.  I'd highly recommend her without hesitation!

Amber was great! Hung out with our kiddos while we sneaked away for an evening wedding.

Amber is fantastic. We were in the OBX for a week with 11 kids ranging in ages from 1-7. She was an extra set of hands on the beach and near the pool for several days and one night solo as the parents went out for the evening. She has a great demeanor that commands respect from the kiddos while also being lots of fun. She melded quickly with our bunch and they warmed up to her immediately.
