About Amber

Hi! My name is Amber, and I have over four years of experience working with children in the school system (K-5). I worked as a paraprofessional for two years, taught 2nd grade last year, and this year I have served as a building substitute. I also have experience working in structured learning classrooms and supporting students with autism, which has strengthen my ability to meet a variety of needs with patience and care. I am currently looking for a summer nanny position as I plan to return to teaching next school year. I am comfortable caring up to four children at a time and enjoy keeping kids engaged with outdoor play, board games, crafts and educational activities. I value strong communication with families and can provide updates in whatever way parents prefer. I can also help with light housekeeping and simple meal prep. I'm not currently CPR certified but am willing to obtain certification if requested.
