About Amber

I currently work as a Direct Support Professional, supporting adults with disabilities such as Alzheimer's, dementia, intellectual disabilities, autism, and Down syndrome. My role is to encourage and support each person to be as independent as possible while being there to assist when needed. I'm also certified to administer medications and provide transportation to appointments, make sure to keep track of their finances, community activities, and personal outings. I absolutely love my job and find it incredibly rewarding at the same time. I have a genuine heart and deep compassion for people who may not be able to fully care for themselves and or feel down. I'm committed to making sure those I work with feel valued, supported, and never alone.
