We feel extraordinarily lucky to have had Amber caring for our son from when he was 7-14 months old. Amber started with us when our son was 7 months old and immediately developed a warm and caring relationship with him. We were both working from home and rarely leaving the house while Amber cared for our son, so we got to see how consistently patient and caring she was with him. She came up with creative ways to play and taught him new skills and words in playful ways. She is very knowledgeable about child development and is great at problem-solving any issues that come up around feeding, sleeping or behavior. Amber was also a huge help around the house with chores and errands. She is detail-oriented and thorough, and independently problem-solves without asking for a lot of guidance. Because we were around all day we also got to know Amber as a person. We always appreciated her quiet, calm presence and her direct communication. She was good company for us as well! We still miss her.
