Hi there, my name is Amber and I'm an experienced childcare professional looking for work. I currently work full time as an RBT providing 1:1 behavior therapy for kids with autism. I'm looking to transition into a full time nannying position working with a child with ASD or other special needs. I have experience with nannying, teaching, babysitting, working in a licensed childcare facility, and clinic based ABA therapy. I have experience with kids as young as 3 months, and as old as 14 years. I'm CPR, first aid, and safety care certified. I'm also certified with the BACB as a Registered Behavior Technician. I'm fully vaccinated and I have my own car. I've taken courses in early childhood education/child development, elementary education, and psychology. My focus is to give your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and thrive. My passion is to use my creativity and flexibility to meet the child where they are on any given day. I moved to Charlotte a few years back and was looking for a trustworthy person to watch my then one-year-old and five-year-old. I learned about Amber from a co-worker that had her watch their children a few times. After an initial meeting, she watched our children and they absolutely adored her. She always kept my children entertained with different activities and just didn’t sit them in front of the tv the whole time. I definitely recommend her to any family looking for someone to watch their children.
