About Amber

Hi, I'm Amber! I have two years of experience working with children in school settings. I began as a substitute teacher, where I supported a variety of grade levels and classroom environments. For the past year, I've worked as a paraprofessional in an adaptive elementary classroom, primarily supporting students on the autism spectrum. In this role, I've provided one-on-one and small group support, assisted with behavior and communication strategies, and helped maintain structured daily routines. I have loved building positive relationships with students while maintaining appropriate structure and consistency. My goal is always to support each child's individual needs in a way that encourages growth and confidence. Also, being in college and having completed three years of my special education degree, I can also create fun academic games for kids to help promote learning and help with homework!
