About Amber

Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I am an only child with a very maternal nature, so it's been an honor to get to help raise littles in this world. One of my first jobs was at a school for special needs children, I then lifeguarded and taught swimming lessons. As an adult, I became a dedicated nanny to my communities and ran a girls' summer camp for 5 years. I was fascinated with human biology and studied child development, psychology, and human anatomy in college. I fell in love with the outdoors, which is my favorite thing to share with the children I work with. Both how to safely explore and how much we can work with Earth to create incredible lives. My goal is to connect with each child and establish a healthy bond to be able to help them learn, emotionally regulate, and enjoy their time. I aim to be a benefit to the household while I am there and be an active teammate with the parents. Trust and communication are both pillars of my work.
