About Amber

I'd describe my personality as caring, kind and understanding. I started working with young children when I was 16 as an Aide in a preschool and started my teaching journey from there. Currently I'm in college to receive a certificate in early childhood education, as well as teaching at a local preschool full time. In my spare time, I like to read or be outside. Doing a story time is one of my favorite things to do with kiddos, but on my own I definitely enjoy picking up my kindle. One thing you should know about me is caring for little ones is something I've found a lot of joy in and take very seriously. I also have certificates for first aid, CPR, childcare basics, safe sleep and more. Some of my skills would be that I'm very communicative with parents and always provide updates throughout their child's time in my care. I also love coming up with activities to do or art to give to parents.
