About Amber

Hi! I'm Amber, a reliable, warm caregiver with experience across infants through elementary-aged kids. I cared for children as young as 6 months old at a local fitness studio, staying fully attentive to their safety and comfort while their parents worked out. I also spent a year as an After School Program Leader, supervising and engaging groups up to 80 students daily and directly responsible for the safety and dismissal of 20 kids at a time. I tutor in math and reading too, so I'm comfortable blending playtime with light learning when that's helpful. I hold a Master's degree from UC Santa Barbara, have a clean driving record, and I'm comfortable with basic cooking and light tidying. I'm patient, energetic, and genuinely love working with kids, I pay close attention to each child's personality and adjust so they feel safe, engaged, and looked after the whole time I'm with them.
