About Amaya

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my tutoring practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in helping elementary, middle, and high school students master Math and navigate Test Preparation. I believe every learner possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion--to suit your needs. I break complex problems into manageable steps and connect concepts to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I value clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure we are always working toward your goals. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you succeed and grow as a learner.
