Hi! I'm Amaya. I've had a passion for caring for little ones ever since my baby brother was born when I was 9 years old. Since graduating high school in 2020, I've worked full-time as a nanny and have had the pleasure of caring for four amazing families. I'm currently with a sweet 2-year-old girl who will be moving out of state in July. I'm also a part-time student at Kirkwood. My availability is open until classes begin the third week of August, at which point I'll be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I've worked with children of all ages, but I'm especially passionate and confident when it comes to caring for infants. I take a gentle, attentive approach and pride myself on creating a calm, warm environment. I love encouraging creativity, positive expression, and outdoor adventures whenever possible. Amaya was our full-time nanny for more than a year for our daughter, beginning at age 12 weeks! We are sadly moving out of state, which is why Amaya is looking for a new opportunity. We truly wish she could move with us. I can't say enough wonderful things about Amaya. She is always on time, super responsive, reliable, and caring. She leaves our house and kitchen spotless every day. Our daughter (now 15 months) squeals with delight every time Amaya walks in the door. One of my favorite things about Amaya is how interactive she is with our daughter. She talks to her SO much. They have SO much fun interacting together, and it's always been that way, even at just a few months old. Amaya was excellent with a newborn. Great with bottles, breastmilk, soothing, diapers, etc. But she's also been excellent with our older daughters (ages 4 and 7). Our whole family loves Amaya, and we hope she finds a new wonderful family to help out. She's a treasure.
