At Valley Life Day Center, I supported adults with a range of abilities, including Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, cognitive disabilities, and other developmental disabilities. I helped lead activities that promoted independence, communication, social interaction, and lifelong learning while adapting to each participant's strengths and needs. This experience strengthened my patience, empathy, and communication skills and deepened my commitment to person-centered care and inclusive opportunities for all.
