About Amari

Hello! My name is Amari and I'm 22 years old. I am CPR, first-aid, and basic life support certified. I am currently employed as a Para-professional at a private school for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing caring for individuals with special needs; As well as practicing as a Pediatric behavioral Therapist. I began my childcare journey taking care of ages 1. 5-2. 5 years, and within my employment branched to every age range between 6 months and 19 years! My favorite things to do in my free time include fitness, reading, writing, and art. When it comes to my style of teaching and caretaking, my focus is on promoting emotional awareness, control, and expression.
