About Amari Jai

Hi! My name is Amari and I have experience working with children in both educational and home settings. I studied Secondary Education in college and have worked as a substitute teacher and teacher's aide with students in grades K-12. I also spent time tutoring elementary school students during high school. In addition to my educational background, I grew up helping care for younger children, including babysitting my younger sister from infancy and helping watch family friends' children over the years. I'm patient, dependable, and enjoy creating a safe and positive environment for kids. I also currently assist with housekeeping responsibilities part-time, so I'm happy to help with light cleaning, organization, laundry, meal prep, and keeping the home tidy while providing care. I'm CPR certified and committed to being someone families can trust and rely on. In my free time I enjoy dancing, singing, reading, and practicing yoga.
