About Amara

I am 22 years old and currently a student majoring in Elementary Education and Human Development & Family Science. I love working with kids and have about 4 years of childcare experience-it's something I'm truly passionate about. Kids are my biggest inspiration, and I love learning from them just as much as they learn from me. I currently work at a preschool, where I have experience with infants, toddlers and preschool (ages 6 weeks to 9 years). I also spent two summers as a camp counselor, where I was fully responsible for 10 children (ages 9-15) for a week at a time. We spent our days outdoors, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. This summer, I'm looking to spend as much time outside as possible. I would love to build a meaningful relationship with your children and family. I do not smoke, have reliable transportation, and am CPR and First Aid certified through the American Heart Association and also hold mandated reporter and safe sleep certifications.
