About Amara

Hi! I'm Amara, and I love working with kids. I currently work in the special education department in my local school system, where I help students learn, grow, and build confidence every day. I'm patient, caring, reliable, and love creating a fun, safe environment where kids can be themselves. I also coached T-ball for children ages 3 to 6, so I'm always happy to play outside, do sports, crafts, board games, and other fun activities. I enjoy keeping kids active and engaged while making sure they're having fun. I'm also happy to help with homework or tutoring if needed. I'm very pet friendly and have a dog of my own, so animals are never a problem. During downtime, I'm happy to help with light housekeeping, organizing, meal prep, and tidying up. I'm CPR certified, trained in Crisis Intervention, and always strive to be someone your children feel safe with and someone you can count on.
