About Amara

Hi families! My name is Amara, and I am an incoming freshman in Fort Wayne studying Human Services. Originally from Lafayette, Indiana, I recently relocated and am excited to connect with local families. My ultimate career goal is to open my own group home to provide a safe, stable environment for young girls, so caregiving is truly my life's passion. I bring three years of paid childcare experience spanning centers, summer camps, and private babysitting. I am highly comfortable with all age groups and diverse needs, including special needs care. For your peace of mind, I am CPR/First Aid certified and Crisis Response trained. I also cheer for my university, so my schedule revolves around practices and game days. I am looking to partner with a family that values open communication and can offer a bit of flexibility-I will always provide my schedule well in advance! In my free time, I love hanging out with my cat, Egypt. I look forward to meeting you!
