About Amani

I am a college student home for the summer looking for a part time job. While considering what I wanted to do for the summer caregiving really stood out to me. I am the oldest of 10 kids and unironically have been around kids of all ages my entire life. I babysat for my parents and friends numerous times and truly enjoyed those opportunities. Additionally in my past two years at college I have worked at an after school program as a tutor and caregiver with kids ages 5 to 17. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid as I am a certified lifeguard. I would describe myself as an adventurous, flexible, patient, kind and a strong leader when necessary. In this job I'll look forward to playing outdoor games/sports, engaging in intellectually stimulating activities, or simply hanging out with kids. If issues arise with a child's behavior I will efficiently communicate them with the parents once they return. I'm excited to begin working with kids this summer and cannot wait to get started!
