Hi families! My name is Amani, and I'm excited to potentially work with you. I have volunteered with elementary children since I was in high school and always enjoyed the experience! During and after college, I babysat for two families on and off for two years before transitioning into daycare. At my daycare organization, I got certified in the following trainings: Code Ana, Abusive Head Trauma, Infant Brain Development, Mandated Reporter, Family Engagement, Infant and Toddler Mental Health, Emergency Preparedness, Managing Child Behaviors 0-18m & 18-36m, and Preventing SIDS. All of these can be shared with any family I'm working with upon request! Besides my technical qualifications, I have an energetic personality that always coincides well with childlike wonder.
