About Amani

Hi! I'm a college student studying Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology, and I've loved working with children for many years. I started babysitting at 11 and have cared for children of many ages and personalities. In 2023, I worked as a summer nanny in Charlotte, NC, helping with daily routines and activities. I've also worked as a cooking instructor, teaching children ages 3-18 Montessori-inspired cooking lessons in a fun, hands-on environment. These experiences have helped me become patient, responsible, creative, and adaptable. I love building connections with children, encouraging their creativity, and helping them feel safe and supported. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and have experience with meal preparation, routines, and keeping children engaged. My studies have strengthened my understanding of child development and individual needs. I'm dependable, caring, and excited to provide a fun, positive environment for your little ones!
