I volunteered @ 3 different nursing facilities on weekends! DC VILLAGE, CAROLYN BOONE, SPECIALTY HOSPITAL OF GREATER WASHINGTON! In my spare time, I like to shop, write poetry, and cook! One thing you should know about me is I have Lupus! I've had 2 strokes in my sleep that I miraculously survived! I am the first African American child born in Georgetown University Hospital that had successful reconstructive intestinal surgery! My skills include nursing across the board!

Amani is a wonderful nurse caretaker She has become part of our family and is fully invested! I was worried at first when I met Amani because she was so sweet and energetic and outgoing, things that my grandmother hates 😆 but they met each other and my grandmother took to her right away! She always speaks highly of her. Even when she started declining, she couldn’t always remember Amani‘s name but she could tell me how good she was and how wonderful she was. Amani approaches nursing with joy!
