About Amanda

Hi there! My name is Amanda. Here is a little bit about me: I was the favorite grandchild (but let's keep that between us). I helped care for my grandmother until she passed, and that experience deeply shaped the path I chose in life. Witnessing her journey inspired me to pursue a career centered around aging and elder care. In 2018, I earned my Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Gerontology. Since then, I've worn many hats in the field-caregiver, activity director, home care agency manager, and eventually, a role in human resources. Each position gave me a deeper understanding of the aging process and the systems that support older adults and their families. In November, I stepped away from the corporate world to welcome my daughter. These days, my time is joyfully centered around being a mom. When I'm not with my little girl, I'm either working on our small baking business or providing care for loved ones. It's a sweet new chapter, and I'm embracing every moment.
