About Amanda

Hi! I'm a nursing student entering my third semester at CCRI and looking for a summer nanny position. During the school year, I work as a substitute teacher in autism classrooms and babysit for local families. I have 15+ years of experience supporting children of all abilities, including those with autism, Down syndrome, and mood disorders. I'm a certified adaptive horseback riding instructor and have led therapeutic riding sessions, summer camps, and equine-assisted therapy. I love working with kids ages 2-7 and creating fun, enriching activities based on their interests. I'm comfortable implementing IEPs and care plans, and I bring a calm, dependable, and supportive presence. In past roles, I've enjoyed taking kids to playgrounds, parks, zoos, libraries, and museums.
