About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda! I'm a dedicated childcare professional and mother of two with nearly 20 years of experience caring for children from infancy through school age. I spent four years working as a float at a Montessori school, where I gained experience with children of various ages, personalities, and developmental stages. I also hold a Child Development Education (CDE) Certificate. My background as a respiratory therapist has given me additional experience caring for children with sleep disorders, along with a strong understanding of safety, attentiveness, and remaining calm in challenging situations. I hold a Bachelor's degree in French Literature and speak English, French, and Turkish. I'm patient, dependable, nurturing, and enjoy creating a balance of structure and fun through reading, educational activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
