About Amanda

Bringing joy and comfort to people is my calling. For the last decade, I've dedicated myself to providing compassionate care, always prioritizing the well-being and independence of those I serve. As a Certified Nursing Assistant with CPR and First Aid training, I offer help with all ADLs, respite care, transportation, errands/shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. I adapt to changing routines and handle every interaction with compassion and patience. I am friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. Some of my most meaningful experience comes from having spent time working on the cardiothorasic and abdominal transplant units at the University Of Virginia hospital. Later in my career there, I elected to serve patients on the special pathogens unit during the COVID 19 pandemic. In addition to that, I also have experience in long term care facilities including dementia care in particular and most recently, hospice.
