About Amanda

I started working as a babysitter at the age of 13 years old and I continued to work with children as a day camp counselor and after school tutor. After working in social services, I went to graduate school to earn my master's of education. I have taught third grade for two years, fourth grade for one year, and preschool for almost two years. In January, I will begin teaching a food and nutrition curriculum three days a week in kindergarten classrooms. I have worked with children for almost 20 years, and I am passionate about providing them with the best possible care. I am a hard worker who puts more than 100 percent into everything I do and I take the job of working with children very seriously. I would take pride in working with families and their children and I would create a positive baby-sitting environment.
