Hi there! My name is Amanda and I'm originally from Glendora, CA. I have been working with kids for many years in all sorts of fields. I have done nannying, babysitting, birthday parties as a character, been the primary caregiver for my young siblings, and done many hours of volunteering at camps. We hired Amanda initially as a mommy's helper for our twins when they were 2 months old. She was very loving, gentle, and engaging with them as infants. She began to take on more responsibility with the babies and eventually began to Nanny for us full-time. The boys are so attached to her and we have felt completely comfortable leaving the boys with her when I returned to work. The boys are now 10 months old and she has managed their day to day care, meals, a few outings, and has put them to bed a couple times for us. She has always been very flexible with hours. I am a professor of child development and so had preferences about interactions and care. Amanda was not only open to learning new approaches and techniques but applied them actively to her time with the boys. She has become like family to us and we are sorry to be moving away and losing her.
