My Mom had an atypical form of movement disorder. With it came the inability to do daily tasks, she could barely speak & her eyes would freeze shut. Amanda was kind to my Mom and so patient. Amanda is very skilled. She excelled at the difficult transfers, feed, bathed,and kept my Mom company. She would take my Mom places so she could feel like a person in the early days of her disease. Amanda always came motivated and positive. She would tidy up before going home each night and take out the trash. She was very dependable and respectful. She genuinely cared for my Mom and always kept the communication open. I cannot say enough good things about Amanda, even in my Mom's last days she was a source of comfort for my Mom. I honestly do no know how we or my Mom would have gotten through her last months without Amanda as our caregiver. If you care for your loved one then hiring Amanda is the right thing to do.
